Book review
Book - The Happiness Story
Written by - Savi Sharma
Published by :- HarperCollins publishers India
About the book :-
This is a kind of self-help book which is wrapped in six parts framing "The Journey Begins to Journey Inward". These titles consist of the entire plot of the book, like evolving in life for some purpose and having self-cognition, and the healing part, which depicts the outlook of a person, consists of the purview of self-love, care for healing our body and mind from negative energies and forgiving ourselves from making mistakes to go ahead in life. The author described a healthy remainder for being grateful towards what we have and to manage everything accordingly and efficiently to make this life bountiful of happiness.
The power of generosity is another art which keeps humanity alive and leads us on the path of compassion. Another form of positivity is love, which is beautifully delineated by the author in terms of communication, relations, togetherness, friendship and the coordination we have in a relationship. This is the entire circle of life entailing bond, departures, sufferings we face because of our own desires and choices. The finale, which talks about happiness and the aspects associated with it, is nicely elaborated in this book.
My perception:-
This is a wonderful book for personal analysis of an individual. One can find a lot of drawbacks and strengths in oneself after reading this one. It's necessary to have an authentic purpose behind the life and happiness we live in, so this book is a mirror to all of us. Through analysis of human behaviour and present a positive and benign outlook for us to have inside.
It is written in a simple yet effective language, so one can have depth of plot without any obstacles of words. The use of tales while elaborating the self-help part is an amazing task. I liked the combination of pithy and axiom used sporadically in the plot, which are said by prominent personalities.
The highlights of the core and central points make a special impression on us. This whole combination makes the book unique and a fascinating read.
The title is perfectly suitable for the plot and the cover itself picky enough to get this book in one attempt of vision.
Special Mention:-
We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive, is devoid of the power to love.
By Martin Luther King , Jr.
Amazing quote in the "Family" chapter of the book, one can relate to run a family smoothly after forgiving the mistakes of our loved ones.
2) If you have the ability to love, Love Yourself first. - Charles Bukowski
And so many.
Peroration:- I'd highly recommend this book to any age group, especially young and adult.
This will have a positive and sober impact on our lives and also get to teach a lot from this. You guys must read this one so that the mission of the author to push us forward will succeed.
